10 Beauty tips for a younger looking you
To Firm Your Cheeks
Using your thumbs to apply pressure to the undersides of your cheekbones, pinch the flesh on to the top of your cheeks with your index finger. Keep the pressure whilst gently pinching outwards along to where the cheekbones and jaw hinges meet. Then using your index finger, apply even pressure at this point, up to the count of ten. Release and repeat a couple of times.
To Firm Jowls
Place your index fingertips on your cheekbones and thumbs underneath your chin. Simultaneously move thumbs and fingers in an anti-clockwise circular motion about five or six times, to decongest fluid in the cheek area and strengthen the muscle tone in your chin.

To Ease Tension
Cover your entire face with your hands and sit back and relax. Using both hands at the same time, glide your hands across your temple outwards, applying pressure; sweep the hands back and repeat. This brings oxygen to the skin to make it look more glowing and vibrant.
To Rejuvenate Your Eyes
Unlike the other massage techniques, this works best when applying eye cream. Dot a little cream around your eyes, then smooth into the skin using a dabbing motion. Sweep your fingers across your crow’s feet until you reach the outer corner of both eyes. With your two middle fingers, stretch the skin vertically to create a gap of approximately 1in and hold for five seconds.
Smoother Skin
Before stepping into the shower, use an exfoliater on your skin, preferably a gel with big pearls, as the pearls will work deeply into the skin. Massage in brisk circular motions, ensuring to pay close attention on hard to reach areas. After you have lathered yourself up, rinse thoroughly in the shower. You will immediately notice a weight lifted off you, just from removing the dead skin cells alone. Next, apply moisturiser to your body. Moisturiser guards against the dry, dull skin that develops into premature wrinkles. I recommend coconut butter as it’s known for turning the skin to silk. Quick tip! Do you have extra dry skin on your elbows, heels and knees? Got tired of spending too much money on expensive and no-hope products to get rid of the problem? Here’s a simple home remedy that should clear it up for you: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and a half teaspoon of lemon juice. Rub into hands, elbows and knees and anywhere else that feels dry. Leave to settle for ten minutes, and rinse off with warm water.
Refill Your Tank With Water
Your brain is composed of 95% water, your blood is 82%, and your lungs are nearly 90% water. Replenishing the moisture that is lost throughout the day is critical to your short and long-term health. Drinking eight, 8oz. glasses of water per day will improve your memory, fight against irritability, help you think more sharply, ward off disease, ease of joint pain, and enhance the health and glow of your skin.
Easy Tips For Plumper Lips
As a cheaper alternative option to Botox and Collagen, prevent dry and cracked lips with lip balm. Use a lip balm with SPF when you are out during the daylight hours and before you go to bed at night to keep them in natural tip-top shape. To make them larger, outline your lips with a lip liner that is closest to the colour of your lips. Use the liner just beyond your lip line, increasing the size a little. Add some balance, shape and curves to the upper and lower lip if desired. Finish by going over the entire lips with gloss or Vaseline. This will add depth and give the appearance of plumper, fatter lips.
Fragrances
Yes, fragrances can make you feel and appear younger. The appeal of fragrance goes back centuries to the likes of goddess Cleopatra, who used to wear certain scents that she found attracted men to her. Today, fragrances still help a woman to feel feminine and attractive. It is just as important as her make up bag. There are many scents out there, the most popular categories include: fresh, natural, green and floral scents and sporty and oriental scents. Fragrances can smell different on everybody. Also they can define your personality so be careful when choosing. I recommend the light and fresh scents the older you are, as musky scents can tend to date you. When applying the fragrance, a simple sweep to the neck and back of wrists is sufficient enough to give you a subtle, yet distinctive scent.
Make-yourself up
To create a younger looking you, begin with keeping your make up natural. Keep blending, as your foundation should come very close to matching your skin tone. For the eyes, earth tones will complement your face. Beige, honey, and warm tones are much more flattering than say, a pink or blue. You can also open up your eyes by extending your eye shadow over the crease with a slightly lighter colour (then what’s on your eyelid). Try brown pencil eyeliner rather than black as its softer on the eye. Keep to light pinks and tinted reds for your cheeks. Simply smile widely, and as the apples and bones of your cheeks become more apparent, sweep your blusher in circular motions. Be careful not to apply too much, keep to applying in layers rather than all at once. If you are a redhead, again keep the foundation light and close to your skin tone. Avoid pink and rose shades, including blushes. Instead stick to peach or coral. Like before, stay with natural colours on the eyes. Natural colours are great for taking years off your face, no matter what colour your hair might be.
Fake It!
A great suntan is associated with health, vitality and beauty. While a bronzed look is desirable, especially in the summer or on holiday, we all know the dangers of the sun’s UV rays. Ask yourself, is a temporary tan worth the permanent sun damage, wrinkles, and skin cancer risk? Absolutely not! So with this tip you can be looking and feeling fabulous within a matter of hours. Today’s self tanners give you a safe, deep golden tan, not the orange look of years ago. Many new self-tanning lotions are tinted and these are the ones I recommend. Not only do they give you an initial tan, you’re more likely to apply the lotion evenly to avoid streaking. From the tip above on smoother skin, the tan should go on nicely as the skin has been thoroughly moisturised. Whilst applying don’t forget to reach those areas where you would tan naturally i.e. back of neck and behind the ears. Don’t forget to wash your hands immediately after application or they’ll end up looking like you’ve been tangoed!!
Quick tip! For a deep, extra dark tan before a special occasion, apply self-tanning lotion before bed, and again in the morning. Before you go out, check yourself in the mirror for any streaks and correct them with a damp paper towel. For the ultimate glowing look, apply tinted bronzing powder with shimmer pearls to your face and shoulders for a finishing touch, and hit the town!
Quick Tips For A Younger You!
Oh, how we would all love external youth, although that is not possible, here are a few quick tips that will help rejuvenate you!
Puffiness under the eyes
Common causes of this puffiness are lack of sleep and drinking excessive alcohol. To reduce puffiness, you can apply a cold compress until the area returns to its original state. If alcohol is the culprit, increase your intake of fluids to re-hydrate the skin.
The importance of Vitamin C
Vitamin C is used in many skin care products as it helps in the formation of collagen (the skins support fibres) it varies from person to person, but many people report that their skin’s texture seems to improve. Usually you have to wait so long to see an improvement in your skin’s texture. With vitamin C this is not so much the case.
Stretch Marks
Many women try creams, lotions and oils to try to prevent stretch marks from forming. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent them, however if you keep applying a moisturiser to the area frequently, it will gradually take most of the redness away. Tretinion cream, commonly known by the trade name Retin A, on stretch marks will slightly reduce the length and width of them.
